During the La Jolla Art Walk, after seeing all my works in the gallery, a new collector bought a mixed media painting first. She came back later as she couldn’t stop thinking of the ocean series paintings and wanted to take that memory of visiting La Jolla with her. So she commissioned me for an ocean scene she saw in one of my paintings and wanted me to add her playing with her dog on the beach with her favorite green color ball.
